SOUND SET UP
 VuuV Mainfloor:
The Quality of the Sound system is of capital importance for us, hence we do our best to improve it every year…since 1994 PAM events from Berlin provides the PA for the main dance floor. This crystal clear sound is the ne plus ultra – and VuuV Festival almost the only festival, were you can indulge in Surround Sound… Like the years before the Martin F2 System will be used. A one-of –a-kind feature of the VuuV Festival PA are the special 21″-bass speakers made by Föön. All together the system has about 90 KW. The following speakers will be used:
all components will be operated with LAB- Group Amplifiers. Using three GAE DSC28-Processors, the system will obtain a new fine tuning. The FIR- Filters enable a phaseal- linear equalisation. To create the right filter rates, the system was specially measured in a low- reflection- room at the TU Berlin by Anselm Goertz, who also invented the processor. The filters and limiters of the processor will enable a save operation of the PA at higher levels than before. The original design of the PA was developed in 1995 by Jakob Kraft (Rahe-Kraft GbR) from Berlin and was improved during the years after. The equipment is provided by PAM events, based in Berlin. VuuV Open Mind Floor: In times of line- array- acoustic irradiation there are only a few manufacturers who are able to compete with this sound system regarding efficiency and performance. One of the most renowned systems is Föön-Audio F3-Neom-System. There is almost no other sound system which plays back the sound of any musical style as crystal clear and at such a long-range using as few components as the Föön-Audio F3-Neom-System. This sound system is standard at Mayday being used in hall 2 and 3 and satisfies any audiophile enthusiasts in the long run. At VuuV Festival we provide at least 30.000 KW capacity! VuuV Chill and Electronic Music Floor: On the third floor the well-proven KMT PAC4-System will be used again. This public address system, using horns with high efficiency is operated with the matching controller-amping. It provides a perfectly balanced sound and we will enhance the capacity. That is more than adequate to plunge into unlimited ambient depths and to fly on endless flowing proggy grooves. |

Die Qualität des Sound Systems ist für uns von allerhöchster Bedeutung, daher bemühen wir uns es jedes Jahr zu verbessern… Seit 1994 wird der Main Dance Floor von PAM events aus Berlin beschallt, mit der besten Anlage, die man sich vorstellen kann. Der kristallklare Sound ist das Nonplusultra – das VuuV Festival ist eines der wenigen Festivals, auf dem man Surround Sound geniessen kann… Das Design besteht aus vier Towern mit der Hauptbeschallung und 16 weiteren Positionen im Groundsupport (rund 23m Durchmesser), welche nach innen und außen gerichtet sind. In jeder Hörpositione sind daher mindestens drei, meist jedoch mehr Quellen zu hören. Das Ziel des Designs ist nicht, maximal möglichen Pegel zu ermöglichen sondern eine Art virtuellen Raum zu erzeugen. Weitere Eckpunkte sind die Mindesthöhe von 4m für Topteile und das 5-weg aktive Design mit zusätzlichen 21″-Bässen unter 50 Hz in der Mitte. Wie in allen Jahren wird das Martin F2 System benutzt; weltweit einzigartig ist der Einsatz von 21″-Bässen der Firma Föön. Insgesamt hat das System rund 90kW. Es werden eingesetzt:
Dem System mit drei GAE DSC28-Processoren wurde ein neuer Feinschliff verliehen. Durch den Einsatz von FIR-Filtern ist eine phasenlineare Entzerrung möglich. Für die Erstellung der Filtersätze wurde das System eigens zuvor im reflexionsarmen Raum der TU Berlin von Anselm Goertz gemessen, der auch den Prozessor entwickelt hat. Die Filter und Limiter der Prozessoren erlaubten vor Ort den sicheren Betrieb der Anlage bei höheren Pegeln als zuvor. Das ursprüngliche Design des Anlage wurde von Jakob Kraft (Rahe-Kraft GbR) aus Berlin 1995 entwickelt und in den folgenden Jahren verfeinert. VuuV Open Mind Floor: Im Zeitalter der Linearray-Beschallung gibt es nur noch wenige Hersteller die sich mit diesen Systemen in Effizienz und Leistung messen können. Einer der renomiertesten is Föön-Audio mit dem F3-Neom-System. Kaum eine andere Beschallungsanlage schafft es mit so wenigen Komponenten einen weitreichenden und kristallklaren Sound für jegliche Musikarten wiederzugeben. Dieses System ist seit Jahren der Standard in den Hallen 2 und 3 der Mayday und überzeugt jeden audiophilen Menschen nachhaltig. VuuV Chill and Electronic Music Floor: Auch dieses Jahr kommt für das Chill-out wieder das erprobte KMT PAC4-System zum Einsatz. Diese horngeladene Beschallungsanlage wird mit dem dazugehörigen Controller-Amping betrieben , wobei wir dieses Jahr die Leistung etwas erhöhen werden. Mehr als genug um in unendlich tiefe Ambientwelten abzutauchen. |
